CACI F.A.Q’s

Please find below a list of the most frequently asked questions regarding our CACI treatments. If the answer to your question is not listed below, please contact us and we will be happy to offer our friendly advice.

Q) Are the CACI Non-Surgical and CACI Ultimate facials painful?

Not at all, the Micro-current works in tune with the body’s own bio-field. Some clients may experience tingling within the skin, a metallic taste in the mouth and spots of flashing in the eyes. Not everyone has all these experiences but if you do have any, they are completely harmless and safe, the current flows through the saliva which causes these experiences.

Q) What age can you start to have these treatments?

The micro-current treatments are very beneficial to slow down the ageing process, keeping the muscles and skin tighter and plumper. The recommended age to start having these treatments as a preventative is 25-30 years of age.

As a corrective treatment to lift and re-educate the muscles, minimising lines, it is recommended to receive treatment between 40-80 years of age.

Q) Can anyone receive CACI treatments?

The majority yes, but not everyone as there are a few exceptions that will prevent treatments from going ahead as listed below.

    • Pregnancy

    • Pacemaker

    • Heart conditions

    • Epilepsy

    • Diabetes

    • Antidepressants slows the process and relaxes the muscles

Please note, the above list is not exhaustive and a full list of exceptions will be discussed in full during your consultation.

Q) Can I receive CACI treatments even if I have sensitive skin?

Most clients with sensitive skin can have the treatments without any problems however, we will require you to partake in a patch test prior to treatment to ensure your skin does not react to the products used in the chosen treatment.

Q) Do I need maintenance following my course of treatments?

This is entirely up to you however, we do advise that you keep up with the required maintenance to retain strong muscle recognition, leaving you with lasting results following your course, which is usually between every 4-6 weeks.

Q) What are ETR pads?

ETR pads are small sticky pads that are placed on and around the face and neck during the Non-surgical facial treatment. ETR is an abbreviation of Enhanced Tissue Repair which is very beneficial for blemishes, lines, wrinkles, scars, burns and stretch marks.

    • Increases cell turnover

    • Increases collagen and elastin in the skin

    • Plumps lines and wrinkles

Q) Can I have a single treatment with any of the treatments available?

Yes you can have a single treatment, however to benefit and get better longer lasting results we advise a course 10-15 treatments, some clients have a further 5/6 extra sessions depending on the clients expectations.

Q) How many treatments do you have throughout the course?

We advise that a minimum of two or three per week with a day in-between each treatment when using micro-current, this allows the current to build within the muscle, tightening and toning the facial muscles. We will increase the current as we progress through the course.

It is recommended that microdermabrasion treatments, are conducted once a week as we will break down the superficial layer of dead skin cells.

Q) Does Microdermabrasion hurt?

The CACI Orbital Microdermabrasion is designed to treat even clients with sensitive skin. This is not a painful treatment. Q) If having the Lip Plumping, Wrinkle Revolution or Ultimate Treatment it uses the Wrinkle Comb, does this hurt?

This is a no pain no gain situation! – The sensation can be very tingly and warm and can increase whist the comb is in contact with the skin. We do however incorporate an Amino Lift Peptide Cream that reduces the sensation quite significantly, resulting in a more comfortable experience.

The Wrinkle Comb plumps lips to give you a better pout, and minimise lines on the lip. This is a non-invasive treatment and is a great alternative to collagen and dermal fillers, plumping fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and forehead.

Q) What is the Hydratone Mask?

The Hydratone Mask is a silicone mask that is transparent and comes in two pieces, one for the eye area and one for the mouth area. The ingredients consist of Rose Water, Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen, this delivers intense hydration for de-hydrated, sun damaged skin. We incorporate Micro-Current rollers that charges the mask and penetrates all ingredients deep within the skin, restoring tone and firmness.

The CACI Hydratone Mask is a completely safe, relaxing and calming treatment.

Plasma Fibroblasting F.A.Q’s

Please find below a list of the most frequently asked questions regarding our Plasma Fibroblast treatments. If the answer to your question is not listed below, please contact us and we will be happy to offer our friendly advice.

Q) How does fibroblast work?

It begins with a hand held device that uses ironised gas between the tip of the machine and the clients skin. As the process begins a plasma arc is formed, then only does the plasma flash touch the area of the skin causing the skin to react. This process is called – sublimation, where the solid turns into gas.

Clients may return to work if they wish to following treatment.

Q) How is the treatment performed?

The fibroblast device will create a plasma flash directly from the tip to the top layer of skin, this will not penetrate any further into the skin (basal layer)the actual tip will not come into contact at any point through the treatment. Whilst receiving the plasma flash. Small carbon dots will be formed in s grid like manor on the surface. Skin fibres will then begin to strengthen and become tighter. This is a non invasive treatment whereby no surgical equipment is used, there will be no cutting of the skin. You may Smell a slight burning smell where the plasma meets the skins surface.

Q) Is a consultation required?

Absolutely, it is vital that a consultation is carried out to discuss each clients individual needs and requirements and to ensure there are no contraindications that may prevent the treatment from being carried out.

Q) How long does the treatment take?

On arrival following previous consultation. Before treatment begins a numbing cream is applied to the suggested area to minimise any discomfort, this is applied 30 mins prior to treatment being carried out.

Depending on the area or how many areas are being treated at one time, appointments could take between 35 minutes- 2hours. That is not including time to allow for cream application.

Times will be discussed on the day of consultation.

Fibroblasting is non invasive, there is minimal discomfort, some clients say it’s painless, some say they felt slight tingling sensation but no pain. Numbing cream is always applied to ensure client is comfortable as possible.

Plasma fibroblasting is a very safe procedure, side effects are minimal. However infection, scarring and temporary change in skin pigmentation can be possibilities. Once the carbon crusts have formed this is the healing process. Clients must ensure that aftercare is very important, applying cream that is recommended will help reduce itchiness and reduces risk of infection, speeding up the healing process. No picking of the scabs and keeping the area dry as possible, if at all the area gets wet, please dab (no rubbing) the area with a clean lint free pad or cloth.

Some swelling may occur which is completely normal and can be expected and day or so following treatment. This will reduce significantly by the end of the 1st week.

Q) After care?

    •  keep the carbon crust clean and dry, no strati g or picking as this may cause scarring.

    • After care balm should be applied as recommended.

    • Healed skin is delicate and should always be protected with an SPF 50 cream.

    • No heat treatments such as steam, saunas, facials, swimming pools fake tan products are permitted until at least 4 weeks following treatment.

Carbon crusts will form during the healing process, avoid using cosmetics such as moisturisers until a day or two after all crusts have fallen off the skin.

Please avoid sun, steam and other heat treatments such as waxing for a 4 week period following last treatment.

Q) How many treatments are required?

In many cases one treatment is sufficient, particularly on the lighter areas of concern. Indeed some areas also may require a little further attention, depending on the size of the area and the desired result the client may wish to achieve.

Following the first treatment results will be visible within 2-4 weeks, following the healing process. If a client wishes to carry out further treatment on a pre- treatment area this can be done 6-8 week intervals to achieve optimal results.

Q) How long does it last?
